MINOR SURGICAL PROCEDURES

We offer the following minor surgical procedures

SUTURES

Sutures are used to close wound in your skin and other tissues. This is done by using a special type of strerilized needle with thread attached to stitch the wound shut. Upon assessment, the doctor will choose the most suitable type of suture for your wound.

INCISION AND DRAINAIGE

If you are currently having a skin infection that leads to a solid collection of pus, keeps growing and is accompanied by fever, you may need this type of procedure.
A physician can come to your house to get it done by adminestering local anesthetic around the abcesss, sterilizing and making a small incision in the collection of pus to remove it. Abcesss is then covered and the doctor will prescribe antibiotics to eliminate the infection.

SUTURE REMOVAL

Several days after getting a wound stitched, a physician needs to reassess the affected area and determine if it is time to remove your sutures, using the proper sterilized material.
